A picture i found in my stash 
i downloaded it and edited it again 
The photo is quite old and lay in my stash for 1-2 years, hence the old watermark which i don't use anymore...
The title is copied from my favourite gothic band ASP.
Actually Per Aspera Ad Astra means through difficulty to the stars. The Song Per Aspera Ad Aspera describes how he tried very hard, but never reached his goals, he sings about how the journey has never been the destination and was (sadly) the only thing he reached.
And he says that if he had known what would happen, he still wouldn't have made another choice...
"Und hätt' ich es geahnt, ich wäre doch nicht umgekehrt."
I listen to this song quite often and often ask myself... would i have turned around if i had known that i'd never reach the destination? Was the journey still worth it?
